Music Director
Ms. Erin Alexander is an emerging choral conductor, music educator and mezzo-soprano in the Western New York region, known for her dynamic leadership and exceptional musicality. Erin currently serves as the Artistic Director of Incipio Singers, as well as the Youth Choir Director and Assistant Choirmaster at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Buffalo. Additionally, Erin works with the Buffalo Philharmonic Chorus as Alto Section Leader and conducting assistant. Erin has helped prepare major masterworks with the BPC, including an acclaimed performance of Carmina Burana at ArtPark in July 2023. Erin last appeared conducting the BPC in a holiday caroling concert at the West Falls Center for the Arts in December 2023. Erin proudly teaches in the Clarence Central School District as a Middle School Choral Director. Previously, Erin held the position of 7-12 Vocal Music Director in the Perry Central School District. She earned her Masters in Choral Conducting and Bachelors in Music Education from SUNY Fredonia in 2023 and 2020, respectively. Beyond her conducting and teaching roles, Erin is an accomplished mezzo-soprano, lending her talents to diverse vocal ensembles and solo performances across Buffalo, such as the Sotto Voce Vocal Collective and the Harmonia Vocal Jazz Ensemble. Erin is honored and excited to be joining the Lutheran Chorale as their new Music Director!
Accompanist/Assistant Music Director
Ms. Teresa Leone holds the position of accompanist for the Lutheran Chorale of the Niagara Frontier. Ms. Leone earned a bachelor’s degree in music education from SUNY: Buffalo State College (dual concentrations in piano and trombone) and a master’s degree in music performance from SUNY: University at Buffalo (primary studies in trombone; secondary studies in organ). She remains active as a musician in the Western New York area, also serving as lead trombonist in the Ladies First Jazz Big Band. Ms. Leone currently teaches band and classroom music within the Lackawanna City School District.
